I just wanted to post some pictures of my sweet kids, especially for their Granny who is turning 56 in a few days.

Ryan's poor heart was defeated as bad as the Warriors were by the Una Bears on Saturday, they lost 33-0. Ryan played well though, he's so tough! He was tackled in the 2nd half and went down for about 30 seconds. Tim thought I was over-reacting when I wanted to run over to my baby boy, and he made me stay put. Ryan was okay, but he did get an ugly bruise. I hope I'm cut out to be a football player's mom.

Football has really taken over our lives, he practices 3 nights a week. It was from 5:30 to about 8:20 every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, but they have cut it back to 7:30p.m. since school started. It is a very busy schedule for us, especially with games every Saturday, not to mention homework.
Last night, I did not go to church, (I know Mom, bad me.) I had a really busy day with the shop and didn't get home until late, and I had dinner in the crock pot. Really I just wanted to stay home with the kids. We had fun though. Ryan and I read together for a while, then I decided to put Norah's hair up in pin curls (or attempt it any way.) I used to love when Granny Britt would put my hair in pin curls. My hair, and Norah's too, is straight as a stick, and has no life at all to it.
I guess what made me think of doing it, is a show I've been watching on Bravo, called Shear Genius. I saw a few weeks ago someone pin curl a client's hair and it reminded me of it. Well, I'm no Shear Genius, I can tell ya. I really didn't know what I was doing. I'd never done pin curls before. Come to find out, I twisted the curls, and it just looks a mess, but here's a picture. She's still so cute anyway. I found a website today that gives you the correct instructions on pin curls if you're interested in trying them. I'll have to try the curls again, with some direction next time.
